A woman was rushed to hospital after suffering a heart attack when she was struck by a potato thrown from a passing car.
The unnamed pedestrian, who is believed to be in her 40s, was reportedly ‘struck’ by an object thought to be the vegetable as she crossed Manorsfield Road in Bicester, Oxfordshire, at 11am yesterday morning.
Posting on Facebook, eyewitness Julian Kemp wrote: ‘What kind of idiot throws a potato at a woman crossing the road!!!! She is currently being attended by paramedics after suffering a heart attack.’
